This is a fabulous hotel if you want a kitchen and a fabulous location. The service is impeccable. The rooms are clean, spacious and well designed. You can book the hot tub for 30 mins so you don't have to fight with children or drunk adults. 5+ stars!!
This is probably one of the best locations and value that you can get in Whistler village. They have their own underground parking and electric car charging spaces if you drive an EV. The rooms are a bit dated now, but good for families or couples as they have a fully working kitchen and pull out couch bed for extra heads. The air con is a bit old and loud, but to be expected with the age of the building. Overall - good value for the location.
One of the best experiences we’ve had in Whistler so far. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. Our room was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly warm—which made a huge difference. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely our top choice for future trips!
5 Stars, A+, would love to return one day! Stayed in their hot tub suite and it was a magical experience. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and always have a smile on their face. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, often with a full kitchen. The hot tub overlooking Whistler village is unforgettable. The location and proximity to the gondolas is unbeatable. I've made ~10 visits to Whistler over the years and the Sundial Hotel stands out as one of the best places to stay for a ski vacation :)
Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly kind and patient with our three-year-old, and my family was so well taken care of while I was out working. It really meant a lot to know they were in such good hands. Everyone we interacted with was so sweet, helpful, and genuinely caring — it made the whole experience a joy. The room was clean and cozy, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was exceptional. Thank you so very much to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly appreciated everything you did and would love to come back again!
We loved our stay here! We came in off season (late September) hence why we got a good deal - think in winter this might be very pricey, especially judging that it is right next to the lifts! Bed was very big and very comfy, kitchen was well equipped (incl dishwasher and Nespresso machine). Bathroom clean and plenty of towels. We also loved the hot tub which we booked on 2 of our 3 nights for 30 min each, nice and hot and clean. Staff was extremely helpful and lovely as well. We made use of the Nespresso machine in reception as there was no filter coffee machine/equipment in the room. Will recommend and return if in Whistler again.
We stayed 3 nights at Sundial Hotel Whistler in December 2025, mountain view 2-bedroom premium suite, with our family (2 teenagers and 1 kid). The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable for all of us. Mountain view was beautiful, especially in the morning with snow. Location is perfect, close to everything in the village and ski area. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay. Sushi Village on site was very convenient and delicious, our family went there more than once. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, very good experience and we would like to stay here again with our family
Great Hotel and the staff are just so amazing! Very close to Gondolas. Great hot tub on the roof! One recommendation is to not get a room overlooking the village square. The pubs can be pretty noisy at night. Or use ear plugs!
